ABOUT

The Jaipur Kala Chaupal Story

The Jaipur Kala Chaupal has been conceptualized to integrate the traditional arts of India with the contemporary art forms existing internationally. This event will provide a unique opportunity to the established and emerging artists of various countries to peep into the very soul of the arts and artists of India. Simultaneously it will facilitate a tremendous opportunity to the Indian artists to interact with a global artistic community to increase understanding on the contemporary styles of artistic expressions prevalent internationally. The Jaipur Kala Chaupal (JKC) has been conceived and formalized by an emancipated group of organizers/ patrons wanting to extend the boundaries of traditional arts and traditional artists to merge with the contemporary arts and artists and metamorphose into a newer and more original artistic expressions.

It is a residency, which will end in exposition of these interactions.
